We believe that a career in care is rewarding but very demanding. Making the job fun and saying thank you for a job well done is part of our unique culture:

• Every year we hold our Care Awards Ceremony, which recognises excellence at an individual level and at our nursing and residential care homes. This year 350 guests were entertained with an Indian themed event at a 5 star hotel in London.
• Our monthly draw to celebrate 10 years in business gave the lucky winners a wide range of prizes…everything from gym membership to a holiday in Mauritius. Nine runners each month up win a bottle of Champagne.
• Our Hallmark in Bloom competition encourages our homes to make the most of their gardens for their residents’ enjoyment. Staff and residents work together to make their gardens look wonderful.
• Red Nose Day was a major success and we generated over £6000 for good causes.
• Our annual Hug Day is a day of fun and special activities. At the heart of the day is a simple message – personal contact through a hug is a great way of showing you care!
• This year the three finalists of our Care Chef of the Year contest will enhance their skills through our scholarship at the Aldo Zilli cookery school in Italy.
• Our award-winning quarterly company magazine keeps staff aware of news and events around the group.
