Flagship care home Amberley Hall opens
After three years in the planning, the flagship home
in our nationwide new build programme has been unveiled.
Nearly 100 VIPs – including MP for North West Norfolk Henry
Bellingham and Deputy Mayor of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk
Cllr David Johnson and Mrs Sheila Johnson – joined managing
director Avnish Goyal and his team at Amberley
Hall in King’s Lynn to enjoy a tour of the
new home.
For Avnish, the opening of Amberley Hall represents a milestone
in the company’s history.
He said: “This is the first of a new breed of homes for
Hallmark Healthcare. It’s a window into our future. The
response from guests and our peers has been extremely positive.
In April we were thrilled to win the "best designed home"
category in the
Pinders Healthcare Design Awards.”
Features of the home include an in-house cinema primarily for
reminiscence therapy; spacious hotel-like reception areas; large
deluxe en-suite bedrooms; sensory gardens; a shop; hairdressing
salon and luxury lounges.
The care home also encompasses a Stroke Rehabilitation Unit,
which will bridge the period between hospital and home for stroke
victims as well as a Muscular Degeneration Unit offering specialist
care for people with conditions such as Muscular Sclerosis and
Atrophy.
