BEST COMPANIES ACCREDIT HALLMARK WITH FIRST CLASS STATUS
Hallmark Healthcare has been recognised as a ‘first-class’
company by The Sunday Times Best Companies initiative having been
awarded star status at its official accreditation ceremony this
week.
The objective of the accreditation is to recognise and acknowledge
corporate excellence in the workplace and pays particular regard
to great work practices and employee care.

Hallmark achieved the status following its participation in the
Best Companies Index (BCI) survey, which quizzed its employees
about working for the company. Their responses were scored by
BCI and as a result Hallmark was awarded star status.
David Lewis, Regionl Manager of Hallmark Healthcare, believes
the new status is a reflection of the company’s commitment
to its growing workforce.
He said: “This year we are celebrating 10 years of Hallmark
Healthcare and our development plans show that the company is
well on target to become one of the UK’s largest providers
of care by 2010.
“At the heart of these plans is an opportunity to nurture
a workforce that pursues excellence at its core. It is very rewarding
for us to hear through a survey such as this that our employees
are not only happy at Hallmark but also sharing our long term
vision.”
Last year, Hallmark Healthcare was recognised by The Sunday Times
as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For having
come 51st in the prestigious list. The company also
came in the top ten of three categories: Living the Dream; Most
Open and Honest Managers; and Motivating the Nation.
