mixing business with firewalking
The care sector will gather for a day of networking with
a difference in September – instead of speeches and seminars,
there’ll be board breaking, iron-rod bending and a walk barefoot
over hot coals measuring 1500 degrees.
The one-day motivational programme will be attended by the sector’s
key players including operators, carers, media, nurses, bankers
and administrators. All monies raised will go to the National Association
for Providers of Activities for Older People (NAPA).
Lead by leading UK master success coach, Andy Harrington, Chairman
of Inner Compass International, the event promises to be a memorable
occasion in the 2006 care calendar – and may even become an
annual date for the diary.
Andy explains: “This day will inspire you to step up and
create the life you deserve by tapping into your own personal power.
I’ll share with you the skills, strategies and tools of peak
performance which transformed my life.”
And if Andy’s experience is anything to go by, there’s
a lot to play for. Disillusioned with his life, Andy made changes
which lead him to get married, have four children and create an
organisation that amassed a gross revenue of £21million in
five years, with just a few thousand pounds borrowed from the bank.
Howard Crackle was one of a team of ten, from the Royal Bank of
Scotland’s South Wales commercial banking division in Cardiff,
who attended an Andy Harrington event last year and strongly recommends
giving it a go.
“It is certainly a day with a difference’, said Howard.
“A few of us went along a little apprehensively but it was
well worth it. A year later, we’re still talking about it.
You approach things differently and have a much more positive outlook.”
The event will take place at The Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow, on
Friday 15 September. Places are limited so early
booking is recommended. Booking forms and sponsorship forms can
be downloaded from www.vibeprandmarketing.co.uk.
If you have difficulty downloading the booking form, contact Vibe
on 029 2073 3526. The price per person is £125.
