glamorous grans hit the catwalk

Glamorous Grandma’s from all over Cardiff hit the catwalk to take part in for an over 50’s charity fashion show and style workshop, in aid of Age Concern.

The fashion show, organised by Hallmark Healthcare, in conjunction with Debenhams, was at Shire Hall, the company’s latest state of the art luxury care home in Cardiff Bay.

Ten glamorous ladies, and one lovely gent, who have never modelled before, took to the catwalk at Shire Hall care home by showcasing this season’s must have items of clothing, from glitzy frocks to daytime chic.

Huw Rees from S4C presented the show, as well as giving a style workshop with tips and advice on clothes that suite certain body shapes, make-up, colours and how to glam up for the festive season.
Shire Hall is a new generation of care home that provides residents with new levels of comfort and safety including, spacious en suite rooms, a hair and beauty salon, a deluxe 50’s style cinema room, nautical themed garden and large lounges with state of the art technology.
