LIONEL’S TEA DANCE FOR CARDIFF

Celebrity dancer Lionel Blair is leading a tea dance for the residents of Ty Enfys Care Home in Cardiff next week – and local people are being invited to join in the fun for free.

The event will take place at the Hallmark Healthcare home in Pentwyn on the afternoon of Wednesday 29th August.

Home manager, Sue Taylor Shaw, said: “We would really like as many people as possible to spend the afternoon with us and Lionel. Who knows, some lucky lady may even get the last dance with the man himself.”

She added: “All of the residents and staff at Ty Enfys are very excited about the day. It’s one of the highlights of a very fun packed calendar of activities here at the home.”

Light refreshments will be served throughout the event, which will be held between 2pm – 4pm and all contributions for the refreshments will be donated to ‘Help the Aged’. There will also be a chance for guests to relax while having their hair and nails done by the stylist for a small donation.
