10 YEARS CELEBRATED IN STYLE AT ANNUAL AWARDS
Hallmark Healthcare enjoyed a double celebration this
month as it combined the official celebration of 10 years in business
with its annual awards ceremony for employees.
The Indian-themed event took place at the five star Radisson
Edwardian Hotel in Heathrow on Saturday (16 June).
Around 350 guests – most dressed in traditional Indian
clothing – attended the evening and enjoyed a series of
entertainment including sitar players, ganesh stilt walkers, henna
tatooists and Bollywood dancers.
For Avnish Goyal, Chairman, and Ram Goyal, Managing Director,
the event was the highlight in a year long calendar marking a
decade in care.
Avnish said: “The evening was truly spectacular. It gave
us the opportunity to acknowledge all those people – from
friends and family to staff and suppliers – who have played
their part in the Hallmark success story.”

Ram Goyal said: “The Hallmark Healthcare Awards have become
the highlight in our calendar. Each year they get bigger and better
with more interest from more people. To say that the judging process
was a difficult job this year is an understatement. I’m
proud to have such a dedicated workforce.”
As well as the awards, the evening raised a significant sum for
Hallmark’s chosen charity NAPA (National Association for
Providers of Activities for Older People).
Gemma Bowler from Kirkby Manor won the raffle for a holiday worth
£6000 donated by Hallmark. For the last few months homes
had been selling raffle tickets to raise funds.
Gemma, along with a fellow carer from Kirkby Manor, Gemma Waddoups,
will be jetting off to Mauritius for a week’s holiday at
a five star complex where she will be waited on by their own personal
butler.
Avnish added: “This is a very special year for Hallmark.
To have achieved so much is wonderful. We look forward to the
next stage in our journey.”
