We believe
that the desire to help others is the most valuable part of human
nature. Individuals feel most fulfilled when they have made a
positive contribution to the lives of others.
For us, it is all about caring… caring about the wellbeing
of our residents, treating our staff like family and supporting
them in the many challenges they face, caring about the environment,
caring about the little details that lead us towards excellence.
When we purchased our first home in 1997, it was because we wanted
to make a difference. We saw that older people often do not get
the quality of care they deserve after a life of contribution.
And so our strategy became clear. Firstly we would focus on quality
care and facilities. Secondly, we would grow our business so that
we could look after more and more people in the Hallmark way.
We set our goal to become the leading provider of high quality
nursing and residential care homes across England and Wales.
Our New Homes
We are dedicated to developing quality environments and high
standards of care, which enable residents to enjoy life to the
full, as individuals, in happy, comfortable and safe surroundings.
Our new design homes epitomise our vision of the future of care.
Our purpose is to create communities that enhance the quality
of life and give rise to new beginnings, new futures.
Our Team Philosophy
As the leaders of our business, we knew that none of this could
be delivered without the right team. We therefore set about establishing
a unique culture that would yield truly exceptional care. This
starts with our recruitment policy, which actively seeks people
who share our views on care and our passion for excellence. The
next steps have been to support those staff with industry leading
training, motivation
and personal development coaching.
The Hallmark Healthcare Charter
Our charter summarises the
values of our team and the way we choose to work together. This
challenges us to live up to a high standard of personal responsibility
and treat others with dignity and respect.
